Using the typeface Gotham as my basis, I sheered the edges to give it a faceted look, inspired by the edges of cut glass. The icon is the combination of tools used in glassmaking, calipers and glass sheers, overlapped to create a crest. The color pallet takes its cues from the hot and cold process of creating glass.
